Dario Bembibre

KENDALL – ADMINISTRATOR

In his post as Administrator of Leon Medical Centers’ Kendall Center, Dario Bembibre is charged with ensuring that the organization is delivering care at the highest standards.

He received his Associate in Arts Degree from Miami-Dade Community College and has had extensive continuing education at Florida International University in Miami, with a focus on Management Information Systems (MIS). He also earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration. He learned retail at K-mart Corporation where he worked 11 years and achieved the level of Regional Manager, overseeing operation of more than ten locations in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe Counties.

Shortly thereafter he was recruited by Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club, where he devoted the next seven years.

Dario Bembibre joined Leon Medical Centers in May 2006 and took a brief hiatus to study and earn a health care degree, with a focus on health care finance. He now begins his day early to ensure that the company’s Kendall facility is ready to meet the expectations of patients. Following that he reviews schedules of both staff and physicians, making sure there is optimal coverage to guarantee a positive experience and evaluates priorities to establish a daily plan to meet the needs of patients and the business. Due to the nature of the business, plans are fluid and in constant alteration, a feat he executes in order to successfully manage the operations of the Center.

He enjoys the fast-paced, demanding nature of the work environment and the constant change that allows both the patients and employees to impact the environment. Reveling in the company philosophy he believes gives the company its “competitive advantage,” Dario attributes its success to the penetration of this belief across all levels of the corporate structure.

Dario has worked extensively in the community with youth groups and sat on the Board of Directors at the Local South YMCA. He is an active member of National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS) since 2007 and the National Society for Hispanic Professionals (2005).

A self-proclaimed true Miami native, Dario Bembibre was born and raised in the city where he currently lives with his wife and two children.
