Dermatology

Your skin is an organ that needs a lifetime of care. Let Leon Medical Centers dermatologists, along side the contracted dermatologists, and other members of the clinical team help you with the smallest to largest skin concerns. Your skin changes with every stage of life and we specialize in treating skin conditions that often affect patients. You’ll get the latest skin care technology and treatments, with the respectful, gentle approach you appreciate at LEON.

The dermatology clinical teams include talented:

  • Doctors
  • Nurse practitioners
  • Physician assistants

Skin care is important for a healthy life. That’s why we take time to teach you and your caregivers about self-exams for the skin. You’ll learn how to look at your skin and use mirrors to check for any changes. If you’re not able to do this, we’ll teach your caregivers what to look for. The sooner you spot skin changes, the better you can keep small problems from becoming big ones.

We’re happy to drive you to and from dermatology appointments whenever you choose.

Same-Day Biopsies and Fast Results

If you need a biopsy, we can schedule it the same day. You never have to wait long at Leon Medical Centers. We can usually get the lab results within a week. For urgent cases, we can get results in two days.

Benign Skin Lesion Clinic

We want to help you look and feel your best. Our Benign (Noncancerous) Skin Lesion Clinic is the only one like it in the area. We treat these conditions because we know even a minor skin issue can be bothersome.

We treat:

  • Skin tags
  • Seborrheic keratosis (noncancerous growths on the skin)
  • Noncancerous tumors
  • Other skin conditions

Other healthcare providers won’t treat some of these noncancerous problems. But we do because you deserve to feel good in your own skin.
