Lung Cancer Screening and Care
According to the American Cancer Society, lung cancer is the second most common type of cancer that affects both men and women. Most lung cancers can be prevented. Lifestyle changes, like quitting smoking, can lower your risk for lung cancer.
Long-time smokers may benefit from lung cancer screening. At Leon, we offer low-dose computed tomography (CT) lung cancer screening for those who qualify. This method of lung cancer screening is the only one recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
An Integrated Approach to Cancer Care
It can be scary to be diagnosed with cancer. If you are faced with a cancer diagnosis, we’re here to help. You can count on the medical expertise and human touch to give you peace of mind so you can focus on healing.
We work hand-in-hand with the team of oncologists and radiologists to offer a coordinated approach to cancer care. The doctors and contracted specialists will review your diagnosis and explain your choices for cancer treatments. That way, you can make the decision that’s best for you. If you need to see other specialists, we’ll coordinate those appointments and will be glad to drive you to them as well.
